SHIRLEY WOODRING LETT, 86, of Creston (& formerly of Atlantic), died Thursday, February 23, 2023, at Greater Regional Health in Creston. Celebration of Life Services for SHIRLEY LETT will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, at Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Services will be livestreamed via a link under her events. The family requests that you dress in brightly colored clothing to honor Shirley’s wishes.

Open visitation will be Wednesday, 2:00 – 7:00 p.m., with family present 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Powers Funeral Home in Creston.

Interment will be at the Iowa Veteran’s Cemetery in Adel at 2:00 p.m., with military honors provided by Theodore J. Martens of Creston VFW Post #1797, and the U.S. Army Honor Guard.

Memorials may be directed to Crest Ridge Estates, First Presbyterian Church of Creston, or the Elyse Miller Memorial Scholarship Fund.

Her daughters – Julie Kay Lang, of Creston; Jennifer (Joe) Rivera, of Port Charlotte, FL, and Joann (Joe) Portwood, of Harlan.

Her brother – Charles (Judy) Woodring, of Lakewood, CO.

Her sister – Kay Murphy, of Stuart.

6  grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, other relatives and her in-laws.
