Iowa State men fade against Oklahoma State

The Iowa State men’s basketball team faded down the stretch and dropped a home game to Oklahoma State 64-56 on Saturday. The Cyclones led by six at halftime but the Cowboys quickly made it a tight game throughout the second half. The Cyclones really hurt themselves with fouls and at the free throw line. ISU went just 9 of 19 at the stripe.

Oklahoma State was led by 19 points from John-Michael Wright. Bryce Thompson added 12 pionts and Caleb Asberry had 10 points and 5 rebounds. The Cowboys improved to 16-9.

Iowa State was led by 13 points from Aljaz Kunc and Tamin Lipsey finished with 12 points and 6 rebounds. The Cyclones drop to 16-8 on the season.
