Drake coach Darian DeVries says the Bulldogs have shifted their focus to this week’s Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in St. Louis. The Bulldogs came up short in their bid to win a second Valley regular season title in five years with Sunday’s 73-61 loss at Bradley. The finished the regular season 24-7.

The winner of the tournament gets an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament and the Valley is expected to be a one bid league. Drake opens Friday night against the winner of Thursday’s game between Murray State and Valparaiso.
