Atlantic senior Alexes Reynolds has qualified for the girls state swimming and diving meet in two events. Reynolds qualified at the regional meet at Johnston this past Saturday, the top 32 times from across the state advance to state. Reynolds finished with the 17th fastest time in the 200 Freestyle at 1:58.45. She also ended up with the 22nd best time in the 500 Freestyle at 5:24.32.

The state swimming and diving meet will be held at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA this weekend. The preliminary round is held on Friday, November 11th and the finals will be held on Saturday, November 12th. The top 16 advance to the finals on Saturday. Individual events will be run in two heats 9-16 and 1-8 for the finals. Relays will be swam in four heats of timed finals.
