Adair County Sheriff: 6 arrests 10/30-11/5/2022

(Greenfield, Iowa) – Adair County Sheriff Jeff Vandewater reports there were six arrests since his last report. Three men were arrested in Adair County on separate OWI/1st offense charges:
- Bruce Leroy Kerr, of Creston, was arrested at around 2-a.m. Oct. 30th, on Highway 25. The report says Kerr resisted arrest and was forcefully place in handcuffs. He continued to be uncooperative at the Adair County Jail, with regard to tests for intoxication.
- 55-year-old James Charles Shelton, Jr., of Des Moines, was arrested Nov. 5th in Greenfield.
- and, 23-year-old Jacob Rigoberto Murillo, of Adel, was arrested Nov. 5th at the I-80 westbound rest stop. His level of intox. measured .205%.
All three men were later released on a $1,000 cash or surety bond. On Oct. 30th at around 6:30-p.m., 26-year-old Jesse Andrew Queener, of Stuart, was arrested in Stuart for Violation of a No Contact Order/contempt of court. His bond was set at $300. And, 33-year-old Christopher Scott Buer, of Ames, was arrested Oct. 30th at the I-80 eastbound, Exit 76 ramp, for Possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was later released on a $1,300 bond.
On Nov. 1st, 60-year-old Nicholas Dave Allen, of Des Moines, was arrested at the Polk County Jail in Des Moines. He was taken into custody on an Adair County warrant for Violation of Probation.
