FRED LYDON, 74, of Greenfield, died Friday, October 28, 2022, at the Crest Haven Care Centre in Creston.  Funeral services for FRED LYDON will be held 11-a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at St. John’s Catholic Church in Greenfield. Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Greenfield; Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Burial is in the Greenfield Cemetery, with tull military graveside rites will be held by the Greenfield American Legion Head-Endres Post No. 265 and V.F.W. Post No. 5357.  A luncheon will follow the burial at the St. John’s Catholic Church.

Memorials:  To the Fred Lydon Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.

His mother – Joan Lydon, of Greenfield.

His daughters – Sara (Joe) Maxwell, of Creston, and Julia (Zach) Flick, of Urbandale.

His brother – Keith Lydon, Sr., of Greenfield.

Five grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
