WALTER “Gene” EUGENE GLEAVES, 92, of Oakland, died Sept. 9, 2022 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital, in Council Bluffs. Funeral services for GENE GLEAVES will be held 10:30-a.m. Friday, Sept. 16th, at the Oakland United Methodist Church. Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is assisting the family.

Visitation with the family will take place Thursday evening from 5-7 PM, at the Oakland United Methodist Church.

Interment will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery.

His sons – Mike Gleaves of Avoca; Jeff (Jean) Gleaves, of Kelseyville, CA, and Terry (Amy) Gleaves, of Oakland.

5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, his in-law’s, other relatives, and friends.
