STEVEN PAUL WESSLING, 63, of Anita, died Friday, September 9, 2022, at Caring Acres Nursing Home, in Anita. Funeral service for STEVE WESSLING will be held 10-a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15th, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, in Anita. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family is at the funeral home on Wed., Sept. 14th, from 5-until 7-p.m.

Interment will take place following the service at Evergreen Cemetery in Anita.

Memorials may be directed to the Wessling Family in honor of Steven. Memorials will be directed at a later date to many of his favorite local charities and events and may be mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home (P.O. Box 523, Atlantic, IA 50022).

His wife – Lana Wessling, of Anita.

His sons – Robert Wessling, and Trevor (Christa) Wessling, all of Anita.

His daughter – Laura (Justin) Rumple, of Casey.

Sisters – Mary (Mike) Hosfelt, of Massena, and Ann (Ben) Harris, of Anita.

His brother – Jim (Dianne) Wessling, of Anita.

6 grandchildren, other relatives, and his sister-in-law.
