The Nodaway Valley School Board meet on Wednesday evening to discuss the head football coaching position for Nodaway Valley/O-M. They ultimately made the decision to reinstate Seth Comly to the post. Comly had been placed on administrative leave a little over two weeks ago. According to multiple media reports Activities Director Gerry Miller was against reinstatement because of what he described as a pattern of abrupt schedule changes and coaching responsibilities within the program. Many parents and athletes spoke in support of the coach.

After hearing a number of statements the board deliberated for about an hour before an official decision was made. They ultimately decided Comly could return.
