(Stuart, Iowa) –  Officials with the Stuart Fire Department said on their social media page Saturday night, that during the early morning hours on Saturday, their crews were dispatched to I-80 west bound at the 92 mile marker, for a tractor trailer vs. pickup truck accident. Preliminary dispatch information advised the semi and trailer were fully involved with fire. Upon arrival it was determined that all persons involved in the accident had escaped with out any major injuries.

Crews with the Menlo Fire Department, Stuart Rescue, members of the Iowa State Patrol, and the Iowa Department of Transportation all responded to the scene. (Photos via the Stuart Fire Dept. Facebook page)
