CAROL BENTON, 90, of Atlantic, died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. Private services will be held for CAROL BENTON in the Exira Cemetery. Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic is assisting the family.

Her daughters – Belinda Van Aernam; Rhea (Tab) Gaines; Denise (Chris) Clausen; Jan (Ted) Namanny, and Joni (Doug) Sudmann.

Her sons – Lance (Connie) Benton, and Jim Benton.

Her brothers – Bud Hackwell; Floyd (Gloria) Hackwell; and Gary (Marty) Hackwell.

Her sister – Jane Schlater.

15 grandchildren; and MANY great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
