The Atlantic Trojans will hit the road to Glenwood on Friday night to open up the new high school football season. Atlantic Head Coach Joe Brummer has been pleased with the effort for the Trojans in practice so far and at their scrimmage in Carroll last week.

It will be a great opening test for the Trojans against a Rams team that fell in Week 0 to Sioux City East 50-33. Despite the loss the Rams were able to rack up 361 yards of offense, 346 of those through the air. Coach Brummer said they will need their front seven to lead the way defensively against the Rams quick tempo attack.

Atlantic has a large senior class that returns a lot of playing experience. Glenwood Head Coach Cory Faust was impressed with the depth he saw from the Trojans in their scrimmage.

Coach Faust likes the potential he sees from his team and he has a lot of versatile players out there.
