One arrest and two accidents reported in Mills County on Wednesday

The Mills County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. of 33-year-old Amanda Corine Elrod of Glenwood on a warrant for Driving While Barred. Elrod was booked into the Mills County Jail on $2,000 bond.
Two accidents were also reported Wednesday with the first reported on 221st Street at 5:25 a.m. 65-year-old Thomas Bussey of Glenwood was traveling northbound from Glenwood on 221st when he struck a cow in his lane. The pickup was totaled but Bussey was able to make it back to his residence before Deputies arrived. Deputies were able to walk the cow back onto the property it came from and notified the owner. No injuries were reported.
The other accident occurred at 1:39 p.m. at 370th Street and Eggleston Avenue. 34-year-old Elizabeth Gray of Council Bluffs was driving a 2014 Jeep south on 370th when she veered off the road and eventually struck a bridge guard rail. The vehicle was privately towed from the scene and property owners were notified of damage caused. No injuries were reported.
