Chicken Lasagna (7-14-2022)

- 1 whole chicken, cooked and boned
- 8 oz. lasagna noodles, cooked
- 1 1/2 cup cream-style cottage cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
One Recipe Mushroom Sauce:
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/3 cup milk
- 6 oz. can sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon basil
Cook onions and green pepper in a small amount of margarine. Stir in remaining sauce ingredients plus chopped chicken. Cook noodles; drain and rinse. In a greased 9″ x 13″ pan, layer: 1/2 cooked noodles, 1/2 chicken mushroom sauce, 1/2 cottage cheese and 1/2 other cheeses. Repeat. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes. Can be frozen.
