MILDRED CHAMBERS, 98, of Canby & the Fontanelle area, died Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at the Caring Acres Nursing and Rehab Center in Anita.  Funeral services for MILDRED CHAMBERS will be held 1-p.m. Tuesday, March 8th, at the Canby Friends Church, in rural Casey. Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle has the arrangements.

The family will greet friends on Monday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Lamb Funeral Home in Fontanelle; Online condolences may be left to the family at www.lambfuneralhomes.com.

Burial in the Canby Cemetery.  A luncheon will be held at the church following the burial.

Memorials may be directed to the Mildred Chambers memorial fund to be established by the family at a later date.

Her daughters – Ronda Sueck, of Atlantic; Mary (Rod) Stoner, of Iowa Falls, and Ranae (Bob) Schelp, of Gilman.

Her sons – Joe Chambers, of Cadyville, NY; Bill Dean (Carla) Chambers,) of Harlem, MT; Jerel Chambers, of Plymouth, CA, and Royd (Barb) Chambers, of Higginsville, MO.

15 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren;  other relatives and friends.
