Iowa women’s standout Caitlin Clark has been named the Big Ten Player of the Year. The sophomore led the nation in scoring and assists as the Hawkeyes claimed a share of the conference regular season crown.

It is the fourth time in the past five years a Hawkeye has won the award.

The 12th ranked Hawkeyes are the second seed in this week’s Big Ten Tournament and will open Friday night against the winner of Thursday’s game between Minnesota and Northwestern.
