MELVA E. STONE, 101, of Audubon, died Thursday, Dec. 2nd, at the Friendship Home in Audubon. Funeral services for MELVA STONE will be held 10:30-a.m. Monday, Dec. 6th, at the Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon. The family asks that those attending wear masks. The service will be live streamed through the Kessler Facebook page.

Friends may call at the funeral home, where the family visitation is on Sunday, Dec. 5th, from 5-until 7-p.m.  The family asks that those attending wear masks.

Burial is in the Maple Grove Cemetery in Audubon.

The family would like to honor the staff at the Audubon Friendship Home for their loving care for 11 years.; Memorials in her memory may be made to the Audubon Friendship Home and Ross United Methodist Church.

MELVA STONE is survived by:

Her sons – Verlon (Ruth), of Bloomington, IN; Lyle (Cathy), of Parkville, MO; Dale (Barbara), of Kirksville, MO; Gary (Julie), of Clive, and Roger (Janice), of Parker, CO.

Her brother – John Dawson of Urbandale.

11 grandchildren, 8 great-children, other relatives, and friends.
