CAROL DORIS GUBBELS, 74, of Avoca died Monday, November 8, 2021 at home.  Mass of Christian Burial for CAROL DORIS GUBBELS will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Avoca.  Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Avoca is assisting the family.

Family will greet friends at the fuenral home on Thursday, November 11, 2021 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm.

Burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Portsmouth at a later date.

CAROL DORIS GUBBELS is survived by:

Sons:  Lenny Gubbels of Council Bluffs; Jeff “Weasel” Gubbels of Treynor; Tim (Maria) Gubbels of Avoca.

Brothers:  Roger (Elaine) Bruck of Persia and Raymond (Theresa) Bruck of Persia.

Sisters:  Connie Leinen of Persia; Ruth (Richard) Trede of Underwood; Donna (Ronald) Reed of Neola; Diane (Marlin) Lustgraaf of Missouri Valley; Laura (David) Leonard of Persia and Lila Bruck of Vail.
