LEO SONDERMAN, 82, of Defiance, died Sunday, Oct. 3rd, at the Salem Lutheran Home. A Mass of Christian Burial for LEO SONDERMAN will be held 11-a.m. Wed., Oct. 6th, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, in Defiance. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Friends may call at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance, on Tuesday, Oct. 5th, from 5-until 8-p.m., with a Wake service at 7-p.m.

Burial is in the Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Defiance.

LEO SONDERMAN is survived by:

His daughters –  Stephanie (Skip) Adams, of Elkhorn, NE;  Stacie (Mike) Frederick, of Earling; and Sara (Josh) Smothers, of Grimes.
His son – Jeff Sonderman (Betts Jones), of Harlan.
His brother – George Sonderman, of Earling.
His sisters – Marcy Powers, and Mickey Kloewer, both of Defiance; Pearl Schulte, of Westphalia, & Jane (Jerry) Tremel, of Dunlap.
14 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Dick Kloewer of Englewood, CO.
