GERALD THOMAS “JERRY” HAYES, 82 of Atlantic died Sunday, October 10, 2021 at the Cass Health in Atlantic.  Mass of Christian Burial for GERALD THOMAS “JERRY” HAYES will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Atlantic.  Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic, IA is handling the arrangements.

Open visitation with family present will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Atlantic.

Committal will take place following the mass at the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery.

Following the committal service, a luncheon/reception will be held at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Parish Center.

Memorials may be directed to the Hayes Family in honor of Jerry and will be designated to some of his favorite organizations/charities.
