According to a report from The Athletic, former Iowa standout Luka Garza has signed a two-way contract with the Detroit Pistons.

Garza was drafted by the Pistons with the 52nd pick in this year’s NBA Draft and he has since impressed the organization during summer league play. Garza scored 20 points, and grabbed 14 rebounds in their final Summer League win over Orlando. He averaged 13.5 points and 8.3 rebounds in his four Summer League games.

The two-way deal will allow Garza to practice with the team and be available for some NBA games. He will start the season with the Pistons G-League affiliate.
