(Radio Iowa) – The Iowa Hawkeye baseball team scored seven runs in the first inning and five more in the second to beat Minnesota 18-0 and complete a sweep of Sunday’s doubleheader. The Hawkeyes have won eight of nine after winning all three games of the Big Ten series.

That’s Iowa coach Rick Heller. The Hawkeyes are 12-9 and Heller was pleased with their approach at the plate. Iowa scored 24 runs in Sunday’s twin bill.

Heller feels his team is hitting its stride offensively.
