MARGARET BACKHAUS, 79, of Westside, died Friday, Feb. 26th, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, in Omaha. Funeral services for MARGARET BACKHAUS will be held 10:30-a.m. Monday, March 1st, at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning. Ohde Funeral Home in Manning has the arrangements. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, face masks and social distancing are required.

Friends may call at Zion Lutheran Church in Manning, on Sunday, Feb. 28th, from 4-until 7-p.m.; Visitation will resume 9:30-a.m. Monday, March 1st, at the church.

Burial is in the Manning Cemetery.

Her husband – Dennis Backhaus, of Westside.

Her sons – David (Diane) Backhaus, of Liberty, MO; Rodney (Kristin) Backhaus, of Manilla; Jerry (Carla) Backhaus, of Westside; and Bill (Jenny) Backhaus, of Griswold

Her sisters – Darlene (Tom) West of Kimballton; and Joyce (Merlene) Ostebee of Audubon.

Her brother – Ed (Vickie) Andersen of Kirkman.

10 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; her Brother-in-law Duane Deist of Audubon; other relatives and friends.
