DALE M. NELSON, 87, of rural Brayton, died Monday, Nov. 2nd, at the Heritage House, in Atlantic. An open visitation for DALE M. NELSON will be held on Thu., Nov. 5th, from Noon until 7-p.m., at the Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home, in Atlantic.

Private family graveside services will be held in the Elk Horn Lutheran Cemetery in Elk Horn, IA.

Memorials may be directed to the family’s wishes.

His daughters – Jill (Wes) Corsbie, of Des Moines; Jana Halstead, of Greenville, MI; & Jean (Kevin) Hinner, of Elk Horn, IA.

His son – Jay (Shelli) Nelson, of Atlantic.

His brothers – Martin (Shirley) Nelson, and Lyle (Dorothy) Nelson, all of Elk Horn (IA); & Gary (Sherry) Nelson, of San Marcos, TX.

His sister – Janis (Larry) Fajen, of Elk Horn.

11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
