Atlantic little league announces clinic details

Due to COVID-19 little league will be a little different this year. If you have already registered then you do not need to do anything but attend the clinics. If you would like to join these clinics and have yet to register, you can go the the YMCA to register. If you have already registered and are not planning on attending the clinics and would like a refund, please contact Sara Wood at 712-249-5338 or the Atlantic Little League Facebook Page.

Girls clinic details:

1st and 2nd grade will be held every Monday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. on Field 1, starting Monday, June 8th – Monday July 13th, instructed by Brett Johnson.

3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grades will be held every Tuesday and Thursday on Field 4 & 6 starting Tuesday June 9th – Thursday July 2nd, instructed by Alexis Handel and Ally Anderson.

3rd and 4th grade: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m.

5th grade: 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

6th and 7th grade: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

 

Boys clinic details:

1st and 2nd grades: will be held every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5:00 p.m. – 6:15 p.m. on Field 2, starting Thursday, June 4th – Thursday, July 2nd, instructed by Mark and Jason O’Brien,

3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th grades: will be held every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday starting Monday, June 8th – Thursday, July 2nd, instructed by Coach Gaylord Schelling.

3rd and 4th grade: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. on Fields 4 & 6.

5th grade: 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Fields 7 & 8.

6th and 7th grade: 6:00 p.m – 7:00 p.m. on Fields 7 & 8.

 

Additional clinic details:

Arrive 15 minutes early to stretch and warm up so that coaches have more time dedicated to teaching.

Hand sanitizer will be available, encouraged to bring your own.

No dugouts will be used and players to space their belongings along the fence spread 6′ apart.

No sharing of water bottles and personal equipment.

Use EAST PARKING LOT ONLY for dropping kids off.

Porta Potties will be available for use if needed.

Remind youth to pick up and garbage they may have left following clinic to help keep the complex clean
