GENE L. HACKWELL, 80, of Anita, died Saturday, May 30th, at the Heritage House, in Atlantic. A Memorial service for GENE HACKWELL will be held 11-a.m. Friday, June 5th, at the United Methodist Church in Anita. Hockenberry Family Care in Anita has the arrangements.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home in Anita, on Thursday, June 4th, from 5-until 7-p.m., with the family present.; 6-feet social distancing will be implemented; Online condolences may be left at www.hockenberryfamilycare.com.

Inurnment will be held in the Anita Evergreen Cemetery.

His son – Chris (Beatrice) Hackwell, of Johnstown, CO.

His daughters – Denise (Kevin) Zimmerline, of Adair; Gloria (Mike) Nelson, of Dundee (IA); & Mona (David) Christensen, of Anita.

His sister – Sue (Andy) Christensen.

11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
