RUTH A. BROWN, 92, of Des Moines (& formerly of Redfield), died August 17th, at Edencrest at Riverwoods, in Des Moines. Visitation with her family will be held Saturday, August 31st from 2:00pm-4:00pm at the American Legion Building in Redfield. No services are planned. Hockenberry Funeral Home, in Atlantic has the arrangements.

A private burial will be held at the Eureka Center Cemetery in rural Adair.

Memorials may be directed to the Hilltop Chapel in Redfield or to Hospice of the Midwest in Johnston.

Her daughters – Rita Brown; Natalie Brown; Lindy Brown, and Pat (Dan) Carnahan.

Her son – Nathan (Kathy) Brown.
