A Red Oak woman was arrested for Public Intoxication on Friday morning. Red Oak Police were called to the Casey’s General Store in the 1300 block of North Broadway in Red Oak at 9:22am for a possible intoxicated female.

Upon arrival and investigation Officers did find a woman to be intoxicated. They attempted to take 42-year-old Stephanie Sue Jeffords of Red Oak into custody and she initially resisted arrest.

She was charged with Public Intoxication and Interference with Official Acts Jeffords was taken to the Montgomery County Jail and held on $300 cash bond.
