DAN “Deacon” GROVER, 71, of Atlantic, died Tuesday, July 9th, at the Cass County Memorial Hospital in Atlantic. A meal and party in honor of DAN “Deacon” GROVER’s last ride will be held from 1-until 3-p.m. Sunday, July 14th, at the Walnut AMVET Post #45 (303 Antique City Drive, in Walnut). Roland Funeral Home in Atlantic has the arrangements.

A procession to the Iowa Veteran’s Cemetery near Van Meter will begin 9:30-a.m. Monday, July 15th at the Roland Funeral Home for an 11-a.m. committal. The family requests casual or Harley apparel to honor Dan for both the party and procession.

11 grandchildren, and his mother-in-law Phyllis Cushman.
