The Cass County Board of Supervisors gave final approval for two murals to be painted on the Cass County Courthouse garage doors. Local artist Connie Boose will be painting the murals, one will have an eagle motif and the other a floral motif.

Boose originally came to the board with the idea on October 15th of last year. The board and Sheriff said they had no problem with the possibility at that time. Boose then worked to receive approval from the Ciry of Atlantic and the Community Promotion Commission for the project. The murals are intended to complement the art deco style of the courthouse.

The board also received a report on the CADCO Site and Business Committee as well as regular reports from the Clerk of Court, Sheriff, and Recorders offices.
