Class 1A and 2A District Semifinal baseball is on tap tonight around the state. We’ll have a doubleheader in Class 1A District 15 for you tonight on KJAN.

The first game at 5:00pm will feature the CAM Cougars (24-5) against the Audubon Wheelers (12-13). The Cougars won the lone regular season meeting between the teams back on July 3rd 17-4. CAM made their way to the Semifinals with a 7-2 win at home on Saturday over Exira-EHK. The Wheelers won their District Quarterfinal game over Earlham 5-2 on Saturday in Anita as well.

The second game of the night at 7:00pm will feature 5th ranked Southeast Warren Warhawks (26-5) against the Nodaway Valley Wolverines (15-10). The Wolverines gave the Warhawks their first loss of the season back on June 28th with a 5-4 win in Greenfield. The Wolverines won their District Quarterfinal over Ankeny Christian on Saturday 3-2. The Warhawks defeated Orient-Macksburg 12-0 in 5 innings in their opening game of the playoffs.
