A Blockton woman was arrested on multiple charges after a traffic stop in Adams County on Tuesday. At 6:30am Adams County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by 42-year-old Christina Sweat of Blockton at the 69 mile-marker of Highway 34.

Sweat was found to be in possession of a green leafy substance that looked and smelled like marijuana, along with a pipe. Sweat was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Offense, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and No Valid Driver’s License. Sweat was also wanted for Contempt of Court in Adams County. She was taken to the Adams County Jail and held on $2,600 bond until seen by the Magistrate.
