MICHAEL CARL LAVERTY, 71, of rural Lewis, died Saturday, June 8th, at home. Funeral services for MIKE LAVERTY will be held 11-a.m. Thursday, June 13th, at St. John’s United Church of Christ, south of Lyman. Rieken-Duhn Funeral Home in Griswold has the arrangements.

Visitation with the family will be held Wednesday evening from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM at the Griswold Community Building.

Interment will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

MIKE LAVERTY is survived by:

His wife – Karen Laverty.

His daughter – Wendy (Troy) Cross.

His son – Brandon (Abby) Laverty.

His sisters – Carol Schroeder, Carleene Paine, and Chris King.

5 grandchildren, his in-laws, other relatives and friends.
