DOROTHY M. GAUL, 94, of Harlan, died Saturday, June 15th, at the Elm Crest Retirement Community. A Mass of Christian Burial for DOROTHY M. GAUL will be held 10:30-a.m. Wednesday, June 19th, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at the funeral home is on Tue., June 18th, from 4-until 8-p.m., with a Wake service at 7-p.m.

Burial is in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery at Earling.

DOROTHY M. GAUL is survived by:

Eight daughters – Shirley (Franklin) Hauch, and Janis (Timothy) Thompson, all of Omaha; Jean (Daniel) Bieker, Carol (Jeffrey) Walton, Joan (Ken Dempsey) Gaul, and Marian Greer-Stokes, all of Harlan; Laurie (Randy Blohm) Gilbert, of Audubon; and Lisa (Brooke Closeboom) Fox, of Allen, TX.

Her sons – Ronald (Paula) Gaul, and Walter Gaul, all of Harlan; Larry (Maxine) Gaul, of Omaha; and Dave (Angie) Gaul, of Chillicothe, OH.

Her brothers – Leo (Jane) Rau, of Omaha, and Gilbert (Mary Ann) Rau, Jr., of Lander, WY.

Her sisters – Martha (Paul) Bissen, of Harlan; Verla Mumm, of Earling; Mervin (Nels) Nelson, of Kerrville, TX; Patricia Kuether, of Pierce, NE; and Judy (Richard) Jones, of Omaha.

Her daughter-in-law: Debbie Gaul-Rusch, of Dow City.

Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
