MERLE LAWYER, 84, of Harlan, died Thursday, May 9th. Funeral services for MERLE LAWYER will be held 11-a.m. Tuesday, May 14th, at the First United Methodist Church in Harlan. Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

His daughter – Charisse (Marc) Lawrence, of Cedar Rapids.

His sons – Courtney (Beth) Lawyer, of Glendale, AZ., & Brad (Stacey) Lawyer, of Portsmouth.

His step-sons: Jerry Cook and Jeff Cook, both of Council Bluffs; Dr. Dan (Anne) Cook, of Richmond Heights, MO.; Tony Cook, of Denver, Co; Dan (Jayne) Garrison, of Harlan, and Jeff Garrison, of Irwin.

His step-daughter: Julie (Troy) Petry, of Council Bluffs.

His brother – David (Caryl) Lawyer, of Manly.
