M. DARLENE “Dancing Darlene” HANSEN, 79, of Audubon, died Monday, May 13th, at the Friendship Home in Audubon. A Celebration of Life gathering for “Dancing Darlene” HANSEN will be held Thursday, May 16th, from 5-until 8-p.m. at the Audubon Recreation Center, in Audubon. Kessler Funeral Home in Audubon has the arrangements.

A private family dispersion of the cremains will be at a later date.

Her sons – Scott “Rookie” (Julie) Hansen, of Audubon, and Brent “Cookie” (Linda) Hansen, of Elk Horn.

Her daughter – Shellie “Snookie” (Paul) Madsen, of Audubon.

Her sisters – Carol Ann (Dale) Schneider, of Arcadia, MI., and Barbara Weissinger, of St. Petersburg, FL.

5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
