Atlantic Head Coach Ed Den Beste: “This was a loaded tournament today in Carroll. Two teams were on their home course and Spencer, Humbolt, and Spirit Lake were there. We had to play one of our best rounds to win today and we didn’t but had a pretty good team score.
Good to see Matt continue to play well and place in the top 5 today. We was 3 over on front and 2 over on back. Cyle struggled with the putter today. He hit well but couldn’t get it going today. Braden had a tough start then was even on the back through 13 but couldn’t keep it going. Tate played his best round today. He had two doubles and a triple but also had 9 pars. We needed his score today and he came through after a tough start. Drey was playing well but struggled with some short shots. Garret had a tough front but came back on the back to keep it below 100. I know we can shoot better than this and will need to at conference.”
