8 arrests in Mills County

Eight people have been arrested in Mills County since the beginning of the month. Sheriff’s officials report the following were taken into custody:

  • Today (Monday, 5/6): 44-year old Akil Ogbonna Williams, of Omaha, was arrested for Providing false ID, and on a warrant out of Pottawattamie County for Theft in the 1st degree. Total bond amounts to $20,300; 31-year old Christopher Brytant Thompson, of Omaha, was arrested for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. His bond was set at $300.
  • On Sunday, 33-year old Donald Arthur Petersen, of Omaha, was arrested for OWI/1st offense. Bond $1,000.
  • Saturday night, 20-year old Blaine Michael Clark, of Glenwood, was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug paraphernalia. Bond $1,300. And, Saturday morning, 38-year old Ben Thomas Bovenzie, of Independence, MO., was arrested for being a Fugitive from Justice. No bond.
  • At around 12:03-a.m. Friday, 47-year old Frances Ann Baughman, of Braddyville, was arrested in Mills County for OWI/1st offense. Bond $1,000.
  • Last Thursday, 35-year old Zachary Aaron McCord, of Glenwood, was arrested for OWI/2nd offense and Failure to maintain control. Bond $2,000.
  • On May 1st, 27-year old Clayton Morris Scott, Jr., of Council Bluffs, was arrested in Mills County on a warrant for Penal Offenses against Title Law and Other Violation or Chapter 321A (Motor Vehicle Liability). Bond set at $1,300.
