4 arrested on drug charges in Creston over the weekend

The Creston Police Department reports numerous arrests took place over the weekend, including four people taken into custody on drug and other charges. At around 8:40-a.m. Sunday, 24-year old Steven Noah Loucks, of Creston, was arrested for Trespassing, Possession of a Controlled Substance/1st offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Loucks was being held for Union County in the Clarke County Jail.

Early Saturday morning, 56-year old Ronald Dale Brammer and 49-year old Tony Dean Fizer, both of Creston, were arrested for Theft 2nd, two felony counts Possession of controlled substance-3rd/marijuana, and Failure to affix drug tax stamp. Brammer faces additional charges that include Eluding, interference with official acts, possession with intent to sell/manufacture methamphetamine-over 5g, driving while barred, and reckless driving.  Fizer was additionally charged with Interference with official acts, and possession with intent to sell or manufacture methamphetamine. Both men were being held in the Union County Jail.

Early Friday morning, 63-year old Richard Glenn Woosley, of Creston, was arrested for Failure to Affix Drug Stamp, Possession with intent to sell or manufacture methamphetamine, felon in possession of a firearm, going armed with intent. He was released from the Union County Jail on bond. Also arrested at the same time and place, was 28-year old Joshua Lee Jones. He was faces charges that include Violation of Protection Order and going armed with intent. He was being held in the Union County Jail on bond.

Friday afternoon, 36-year old Melissa Diane England, of Kent, was arrested at the Creston/Union Co LEC (Law Enforcement Center), on a Violation of a no contact/protective order-contempt warrant-outside agency. She was released from the Union Co Jail after seeing the magistrate. Friday night, 30-year old Kayla Sue Hoffman, of Creston, was arrested at her residence for Theft in the 5th. She was later released on bond.

Early Sunday morning, Creston Police arrested 20-year old Miguel A. Mendez, of Creston, for OWI/1st offense. He was being held on bond in the Union County Jail. Sunday afternoon, 22-year old Steven Michael Kiss Jr., of Murray, was arrested in Creston for Driving while suspended, and on a Clarke County warrant. Kiss was being held in the Clarke Co. Jail. Also arrested Sunday afternoon, was 35-year old Savannah Irene McVay, of Creston. She was taken into custody for Simple Assault and was later released on bond.
