Nodaway Valley girls, Mount Ayr boy take hardware at Pride of Iowa Conference Championships

The Nodaway Valley girls and Mount Ayr boys track teams were winners at the Pride of Iowa Conference Championships in Corning on Monday night.

In girls action Nodaway Valley got wins from Maddax DeVault in the 200M, Reagan Weinheimer in the 400M, Lexi Shike in the 100M Hurdles, and won the 4x100M Relay and Sprint Medley. Bedford got a trio of wins from Emma Lucas. She won the 800M, 1500M, and 3000M. The Bulldogs also won the Distance Medley. Southwest Valley’s Kyli Aldrich won the Shot Put.

In boys action Josh Baudler of Nodaway Valley won the 1600M and 3200M. Southwest Valley had a couple of winners with Hunter Poston in the Discus and Jacob Webb in the Shot Put.
