Atlantic girls 2nd, boys 3rd at Ram Co-Ed Relays

The Atlantic girls track team was runner-up and the boys team finished 3rd at the Glenwood Ram Co-Ed Relays on Monday night. The Glenwood girls and Sergeant Bluff-Luton boys took the team titles. The meet was held at Lewis Central due to ongoing facility renovations in Glenwood.

In girls action Atlantic scored 113 points. Glenwood scored 157 for the win. The Trojans picked up an event win from Heidi Williams in the 400M Hurdles. Haley Rasmussen was 2nd in the Long Jump and the 200M. Taylor McCreedy was runner-up in the 1,500m and the 3,000M behind Tri-Center’s Peyton Pogge in both races.

In boys action Atlantic scored 104 points behind Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s 142 and Glenwood’s 109 total. Atlantic picked up wins from Chase Mullenix in the 800M, Craig Alan Becker in the 1,600M, the 4x400M Relay, the 4x800M Relay, and Sprtint Medley.
