Jim Field visits with Connie Faga about the devastating July, 1958 flood in Exira.  Her father, Norman Baier, was fire chief at the time and helped to save a number of people, including a Minnesota family with three young children, hanging on to a gravel truck all night long.  He became one of the “Lucky 13” who survived.
