A collision this (Tuesday) morning in Red Oak resulted in one of the vehicles rolling over, but no one was injured. Red Oak Police say the accident happened at around 8-a.m., at the intersection of 2nd and Walnut Streets. A 1996 Chevy Blazer driven by 19-year old Pablo Ramos Ramos, of Red Oak, was traveling west on E. Walnut Street, while a 2015 Dodge Journey SUV driven by 50-year old Debra Kay Terry, of Red Oak, was traveling north on 2nd. The Dodge — registered to Jimmy Terry, of Red Oak — was almost half-way through the intersection, when Debra Terry noticed the Blazer was not yielding to her. She noted Ramos might have been looking at his phone.

Police say Ramos had not cleaned all the frost off of his windows, and had a partially obstructed view. His Blazer entered the intersection and struck the Dodge on its right rear door. After the impact, the Dodge slid to the curb and when it made contact, flipped onto its roof before coming to rest on a fire hydrant. Damage from the crash amounted to $19,000. Red Oak Police cited Ramos-Ramos cor Failure to Yield and obstructed view.
