An accident in Creston Saturday night caused $2,300 damage and resulted in an OWI charge. Creston Police says a 2016 Chevy Sonic driven by 37-year old Brian Clair Smith, of Creston, was traveling on Swigart Street at around 8:15-p.m., when his car struck legally parked  vehicles, including a1995 Dodge Dakota pickup, a 1998 Ford Escort, and a 1999 Dodge Dakota pickup. All of the parked vehicles were registered to the same owner.

Smith left the scene in his vehicle. Officers found him in his driveway on the corner of Vine and Harsh Street. Authorities say he was intoxicated, processed and charged with OWI/1st offense. No injuries were reported.
