FRANZ PETER KARDELL, 92, of Avoca, died Sunday, Sept. 2nd, at the Missouri Valley Hospital. Funeral services for FRANZ KARDELL will be held 10:30-a.m. Saturday, Sept. 8th, at the Oakland Christian Church (in Oakland). Rieken-Vieth Funeral Home in Oakland is assisting the family with arrangements.

A Prayer Service will be held at the Oakland Christian Church 5:30-p.m. Friday, followed by visitation with the family until 7-p.m.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery, west of Oakland.

His wife – Mary Kardell, of Oakland.

His step-children: Rhonda Birchmier, of Maxwell; Beth (David) McDonald, of Washougal, WA; Peggy Kurth, of Logan; Winston Moffatt, of Treynor; Amy Moffatt, of Council Bluffs, and Wesley Moffatt, of Onawa.

His brother – Lester (Margaret) Kardell, of Omaha, NE

His sister – Eileen Morse, of Council Bluffs.
