An ATV accident early this (Sunday) morning in eastern Iowa’s Jackson County, has claimed the life of a 27-year old woman. The Iowa State Patrol reports a 2010 Polaris ATV driven by 28-year old Bret L. Rapp, of Maquoketa, was traveling west on Leisure Lake Road at around 1:15-a.m., when the machine left the road and rolled over before hitting a tree. A passenger, 27-year old Sarah May Bennett, of Bernard (IA), was ejected. Bennett suffered fatal injuries during the crash and died at the scene. The accident remains under investigation.
