CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) — Authorities say two men were injured by a fire at a construction trailer in Cedar Rapids. The Cedar Rapids Fire Department said in a news release that firefighters were dispatched around 3:40 p.m. Saturday. They found the trailer engulfed in flames, which had spread to a nearby wooden fence and had melted yard and garbage containers.

The department says the men were hurt when they tried to remove tools and equipment from the trailer. One man was taken to a Cedar Rapids hospital. The other was treated at the scene. Their names haven’t been released. The fire cause is being investigated.
