The Iowa High School Athletic Association announced that they will begin using TrackWrestling to seed the traditional state wrestling tournament, beginning with the upcoming 2018-19 season.

A computerized system using the TrackWrestling criteria will seed each weight class. The top eight wrestlers will be seeded with the remaining eight spots filled by drawing at random.
