DORIS ELAINE NEWELL, 91, of Urbandale (formerly of Anita) died Tuesday, May 8th at the Senior Suites of Urbandale.  Funeral services for DORIS NEWELL will be held Tuesday, May 15th at 1:00pm in the Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Anita.

Visitation with family will be held Monday, May 14th from 4:00pm-6:00pm in the Hockenberry Family Care Funeral Home in Anita.

Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita.

Memorials may be directed to the Anita American Legion Post #210.

DORIS NEWELL is survived by:

Her sons – Darrell (Linda) Newell, of Argyle, TX., and Dennis Newell, of Anita.

Her daughter – Jody Lamb, of Des Moines.

Her brother – Richard Anderson, of West Des Moines.

Her sisters – Beverly Porter, of Ankeny, and Janet Glessner, of Mesa, AZ.

4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
