GERALD JOHN BISSEN, 92, of Earling, died Thursday, April 19th, at home. A Mass of Christian Burial for GERALD BISSEN will be held 10:30-a.m. Monday, April 23rd, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling. Pauley-Jones Funeral Home in Harlan has the arrangements.

Visitation at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Earling, is from 4-until 8-p.m. Sunday, April 22nd, with a Knights of Columbus Rosary at 4-p.m.

Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

His daughters – Lori (Tom) Heit, of Evansdale (IA); Bette (Steve) Sheeran, of West Palm Beach, FL; Peg (Mike) Shappell, of Loxahatchee, FL, and Chris (Dave) Blum, of Glenwood.

His sons – Bob (Mary) Bissen, of Earling; Jim Bissen, of Mesa, AZ; Dale (Julie) Bissen, of Woodbury, MN; Jerry (Pat) Bissen, of Harlan, and Ron (Melissa) Bissen, of Westminster, MD.

24-grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and his brother-in-law from Oceanside, CA.
